Saurians : BATTLE FRONT VENAUS

Chapter 2 - THE PHANTOM MENACE

Continuing clashes between Resistance Forces and Saurians Troops located in the Upper Susa Valley, in the area over the hydroelectric plant of Venaus .

On the night of 22 September , a sudden glow lit up in the sky above the hydroelectric plant , it was great hearing a deafening hiss then accompanied by a thunderous roar , similar to what might have been caused by the fall of a large meteorite or an aircraft. "There must have been the Saurians", said the colonel Ferraris , Commander of the troops stationed in Venaus . Then immediately gave the order to Lieutenant Rossi to take a couple of Teams and have to carry out an exploration in the area, in order to check "WHAT" or "WHO" had fallen .

The battle continues like this, with the Altarian Hunter committed to eliminate one or two at a time of the Saurians who have had the misfortune to be close to him, while farther it is it is carrying out the gunfight between the Command Squad of the Alpini and the Unit of twelve Saurians Assault Troopers.

Whenever the Altarian Hunter performs the killings, he takes the bodies of his victims and brings them right up above the place where he has his base, in order to extract the "trophies " from the bodies . Because of these its movements , to Saurians can have of the momentary " truces ", of which they fail to give an explanation .

By the radio The Saurians require the intervention of their Air Force , but the attack led by a pair of fighter-bombers aircraft on the forest where it is are repaired the Team Command of the Alpini it has no effect .

At the end of the clash, the situation is the following:

- The Saurian Assault Unit attacked by the Altarian Hunter has suffered 5 losses of 7 of its components.

- The Saurian Assault Unit which had the firefight with the Command Squad of the Alpini was almost completely destroyed, but they inflicting some losses to the enemy.

In compliance with the orders received by radio from their respective Commands, Alpini and Saurians fold neatly and return to their bases. The Altarian Hunter remains the undisputed, the only "master" of the area. waiting for the arrival sooner or later of other "prey" that provide the coveted trophies, before his companions come to retrieve him to bring him back to his planet.
