SCENARIO
After the proclamation of the Galactic Empire by Lord Sidius, the Lord of the Sith, the Clone Troopers, who had previously formed the Army of the Republic, passed to the orders of the new sovereign and his right arm, Lord Vader.
With the decommissioning of Droid armies that operated under the orders of the Separatist leaders, the galactic war could be considered ended. However, the Galaxy could not yet be considered entirely pacified and under the control of the Empire.
The war had left many star systems left to themselves, without any connection with the central government.
A Regiment of the Clones of the 95 ° Legion was sent to take control of the far planet Dantana, one of the many worlds of the Outer Rim systems. This planet had been colonized by Mirdynians, a group of people, all of the human race, followers of a Jedi Knight, whose name, MIRDYN, was hired by them. They practiced polygamy, and followed a completely natural way of life, avoiding any technological object.
The Clones of 95 ° Legion that had landed on the planet found that all Settlers had been exterminated by alien monsters. The Regiment had a bloody encounter with those aliens, finally they managed to have reason of them, though at the cost of many casualties.
After this battle the alien survivors were scattered throughout a vast desert region and for some time no longer they had any news of them.
The Clone Regiment occupy the fort that was built by Mirmydiani and fortified it, thus establishing a base of operations from which it was possible to control the solar system. Two years have passed. Some months ago, one day suddenly communications between the Dantana base and the Imperial Control Center were suddenly stopped. The latest, breathless sentences spoken by the radio operator of Dantana was understood at the Imperial Control Center that the base itself was under attack by a hostile alien force.
The Emperor commissioned Lord Vader to organize a new Standby Force, also based on faithful Clones of 95 ° Legion. A couple of weeks after Lord Vader had taken possession of the Dantana base, it came to the Imperial Control Centre a new, sudden, unexpected call for help: the monstrous Dantana aliens, in overwhelming numbers, have unleashed a new attack The Clones and the life of Lord Vader is now in danger!
Immediately, the Emperor ordered the Imperial Fleet Command to send a Force to Dantana, to recover Lord Vader and, if possible, to eliminate all those troublesome aliens as well.
The Force of the Imperial Fleet arrived in orbit around Dantana and the first troops began to land on the planet, moving in the direction of the locality where there is the Imperial Base.
Dantana
: a T-class planet with an atmosphere of oxygen and nitrogen from breathing creatures like Humans. It has a gravity equal to that of the Earth, with the periods of rotation and revolution similar to those on Earth. The surface of the planet is almost entirely desert, characterized by deep canyons and rock formations. The water is just below the surface, even a few meters deep.This scenario is the continuation of the battle that we had played on July 4, 2010:

THE BATTLE
We played with armies of 2000 points.
The table is divided into four parts:
Darth Vader with a Unit of Veteran Clones and one of Heavy Weapons is deployed in sector "C", where there is the Command Bunker (where it is assumed they were still awaiting the arrival of reinforcements).. The shield generator was activated: this has prevented Mantids to hit from the planet the Imperial ships in orbit, but at the same time forcing the Relief Force to descend on the surface, thus effecting a "land attack".
The Relief Force, divided into two commands (one of armored vehicles and one infantry) has landed in the "B" and shall be blown over the area "C" to retrieve Darth Vader and bring him to safety.
The Mantids army is commanded by a Mantids-Brain and has been deployed throughout the rule of "Reserves".
The Mantids had occupied the burrows of the Sarlacc, using them as their hideouts after eliminating the legitimate owners. These hearth burrows are located in areas "A" and "D". The Mantids Warriors come out from these hearth burrows.
During the battle, Darth Vader, having "heard", thanks to his powers, that the Mantids-Brain was isolated and unprotected by his warriors, he decides to go after him, along with the Veterans Unit. He leave in place the unit with Heavy Weapons, in order to protec his shoulders.
The Mantids are trying to stop the Imperials, but they are ravaged by heavy firearms of the armored vehicles.
At the end of the battle (12 turn), all Mantids, with the exception of the Mantids-Brain, have been eliminated. The Empire has won.
Darth Vader puts his hand on the flabby forehead of the Mantids-Brain and exclaims: "He's afraid."
